Abstract ―

The research investigates which elements affect Baguio City residents to accept environmentally friendly packaging during their transition toward circular economy practices. The study employed a descriptive-correlational quantitative design to collect data from 30 residents who answered questions about their awareness of packaging attributes and attitudes and perceptions and demographic information. The research indicates that residents who understand local anti-plastic laws better tend to support green packaging solutions. The research indicates that consumers will buy sustainable packaging when they understand its materials and durability but price does not affect their purchasing decisions. The study reveals that sustainable and convenient attitudes drive positive acceptance of green packaging but people who worry about hygiene will avoid using these products. The study shows that acceptance of green packaging depends on educational level and family income but not on age or gender. The research data shows that consumers in Baguio City support the growth of sustainable packaging solutions. The city needs to solve price-related issues while enhancing product durability information and expanding public education initiatives to speed up its circular economy transition.
